Episode 192: Our 2014: The Year in Review

Wow! A Podcast so nice we had to cut it into two parts! Sort of!
This episode is about breaking down how 2014 really went. We begin with a week-by-week, month-by-month breakdown of everything our two heroes did this year. From January's trip to a Three Stooges Film Festival all the way through this past Sunday's local wrestling show, the guys break down what they did together and with others and there is a surprising amount of stuff in there.
Chuck and Brad also talk about what they have learned, and how they have grown and changed over the past twelve months. Aside from Brad's obvious brow implants, how else did they change? Listen and find out!!!!!

Episode 191: Christmas 2014!

It's time for our Annual Christmas Episode! It's Very Special!
Chuck and Brad are joined by Senior Discount guitarist and self-proclaimed "Grinchspert" Eric Maksood for another Christmas episode. Maksood starts the festivities off right by telling a story of one young man (Maksood) and his sexual encounter gone awry. Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Brad tries to redeem the Christmas spirit by talking about his gift from Chuck - a "Bradvent Calendar." The innocence restored, the guys talk about a recent play the three of them went to see together.
Brad then turns to the Two Wise Men (Chuck claims he's actually wise enough for 2 and a half men, so the math checks out) (that's a joke about Maksood's lack of wisdom) (we love him) for advice - is sending a Secret Admirer Christmas Card a good idea? Should he do it?
Maksood then turns to the 25 Wise Men (Still just Chuck and Brad) for advice about getting a gift for a new lady in his life.
Personal matters aside, the guys talk about some things they either discovered this Christmas or forgot to talk about on previous Christmas episodes. Chuck and Eric talk about the Pentatonix Christmas album, the Straight No Chaser/Kristen Bell song "Text Me Merry Christmas, and the Michael Buble/Idina Menzel duet on "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Maksood recommends Seth Macfarlane's holiday album, and the three fellows talk about the new Toy Story special and the several-years-old-but-new-to-Chuck "Prep and Landing."
The podcast closes with a discussion of the behind-the-scenes of "Fug On The Rooftop," a recent Senior Discount prank! To all a good night!

Episode 190: Our "Home Alone" Commentary

For the first time EVER, Chuck and Brad set their sites on Hollywood and Christmas and produce a commentary track! Joined by local large-chinned animal Patrick Dennis, the boys provide a running commentary of the movie "Home Alone."
You'll probably want to have Home Alone queued up for this one. It's like MST3K or Rifftrax or any other copyrighted name! Except with more swearing and significantly less preparation! Enjoy it! Woof.

Episode 189: Birdman, Marvel Phase Three, and Chuck's Strange Work Situation

Chuck and Brad kick off the week with some updates - Brad has some improv shows coming up, and Senior Discount is anxiously awaiting a possible show in the very near future!
Chuck tells the tale of a recent Senior Discount show in Providence - did the weather affect the attendance? The two turkeys (har har) then talk about their Thanksgivings...most of which was spent together.
After that, the two birdmen (what?) discuss the recent movie Birdman. While Chuck and Brad both thought very highly of this movie, you'll have to do more than read this synopsis to find out why they enjoyed it so much. You'll have to listen to the podcast.
After weeks of putting it off, it could be put off no more! Brad and Chuck finally discuss the Marvel Phase 3 announcement, and talk about which movie(s) they are most looking forward to. Finally, Chuck closes the podcast telling a story involving leaving a job in a strange manner. Did he get fired? Did he get laid off? Is there a convincing impostor claiming to be Chuck at work right now? No one knows!

Episode 188: Comics Come Home, Big Hero 6, Louis CK, and The Room

Chuck and Brad kick off the week with some updates - Senior Discount has a show tomorrow, on Thanksgiving Eve! Check them out!
Recently, Chuck and Brad went with friends and family to the Comics Come Home benefit starring, among others, Denis Leary, Marc Maron, Jimmy Fallon, and Jim Gaffigan. What did the guys think of the experience? Who had the funniest set? Once they've answered those (and other) questions, Chuck relays the tale of his trip to his girlfriend's brother's wedding. He finds this night to be podcast-worthy based mostly on the food there. Appetizers ahoy!
The Jake Gyllenhall movie Nightcrawler came out and the guys discuss their thoughts on that, as well as the Disney 3D-animated movie Big Hero 6. In less-pleasing movie news, the guys also went to see Dumb and Dumber To. So they discuss that as well. Chuck tells Brad about his recent trip to a taping of The Jerry Springer Show.
More recently, C&B went to see Louis CK do standup in Boston in a pretty intimate venue. Was Louis on his game, or did having the comedy heavyweights Chuck and Brad in the house throw him off? (Spoiler alert: he was, and we did not.) After that, they headed to see a midnight showing of cult classic The Room, accompanied by a Q&A with Director/Actor Tommy Wiseau.
In more festive news, the guys recently celebrated Thanksgiving with friends, then came home to watch the most recent WWE PPV Survivor Series and its surprising ending. All this and more on episode 188!

Episode 187: Maksood Tales, Chuck Ragan, and a Broken Guitar

Once again, Chuck and Brad are joined by Eric Maksood, in his first appearance as a member of Senior Discount. After introducing the first Web Coulier about Jerry Seinfeld and Wale, conversation turns to the second, as the three idiots discuss NoFX lead singer's interaction with a fan. Chuck drops some movie news on the group, spilling the beans about the forthcoming film Geezer, starring, among others, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong.
Maksood has some stories after that. He shamelessly brags about taking a young lady's virginity when he was in England, then relays the tale of the time he was in the "American Idol Experience" at Disney World. Maksood is a weird dude.
Chuck and Brad try to run down the events of the past month, beginning with a Rob Zombie movie night. What did they think of House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and Lords of Salem? A brief mention of the trip to the Roger Williams Zoo Jack-o-Lantern spectacular, then an accounting of Chuck's trip to Brooklyn to see one of the Alkaline Trio discography shows.
Speaking of music, Chuck talks about his experience with Chuck Ragan when they played together at a recent show in West Warwick. Did Chuck Ragan demonstrate the good nature that matches his reputation?*
The music talk hits a sour........note......after that, as Chuck reveals the terrible truth about breaking Maksood's guitar on the day of their very first show together. In fact, a lot of things went wrong at Senior Discount's show with Bad Larry. Find out about all of them!**
Also, we talk about Brad's to North Carolina, and Senior Discount's show in Boston. Whew!
- Brad
*Yes.
**Most of them.

Episode 186 - Our Florida Adventure - Part 3

Recently, Chuck and Brad went to Florida with some of their pals, and this part three of the three-part episode. Let's lay it on the line here - this week's series of episodes that are more for the superfans of the Chuck and Brad Podcast, as they are basically the audio equivalent of home movies. Not the most exciting, hilarious or erotic series of episodes - just the recording of a good vacation with some good friends. This final Florida podcast is the final section of that trip, covering a shopping day, night in Downtown Disney, a day at Hollywood Studios, Halloween night, and the final lazy day in town.
This episode was recorded while still on the trip, while still in the townhouse we rented in Florida. Chuck and Brad were joined on this journey (both literal and figurative) by podcast mainstay Patrick Dennis and newcomer Sarah Reynolds. Much fun is had at everyone's expense, but especially Lou Perella's expense, as we wasn't there to record with us.

Episode 183: Paul and Nick in "Bad Larry Returns!"

Bad Larry returns! Back in April, Nick and Walt from Bad Larry came on the show to tell the story of Bad Larry.
THIS time, Nick returns, but with Bad Larry co-founder PAUL at his side, to tell some new stories from the history of the band. Why did Paul and Nick have a physical fight onstage? Why were the Bad Larry boys weary about getting too close to the antics of Senior Discount when we all first met? Does the entire local Rhode Island scene have a problem with Senior Discount consistently claiming to "co-headline" shows? And does Chuck give a shit?
Find out on the new episode!
- Chuck

P.S. Spoiler alert: The answer to one of those questions is "No." Take a guess which one.

Episode 182: Halloween 2014

Chuck and Brad are joined by Halloween "experts" Nic Hallenbeck and Brian Decoteaux for a spooky talk about the spookiest season of the year! After some chatter about upcoming events and the below Web Coulier, the guys break into topic number one - the animated special known as "Halloween Is Grinch Night." Is it good? How does it fit into the extended Grinch-verse? Hear the unbiased, uncensored review!
The second topic is brainstorming - costume ideas and treat ideas. And while Brad doesn't have many ideas, rest assured they are better than any of the ideas Chuck solicited from friend of the podcast Eric Maksood.
Chuck then offers his Ultimate-As-Of-Now Halloween Playlist. A ton of songs from a ton of bands! The guys discuss the appropriateness of the songs mentioned and offer suggestions of their own. Listen soon and get in the Halloween "spirit!" (Even that is better than Maksood's jokes.)

Episode 180: Nick Swardson, Salem, Gratitude, and Marvel News

After the updates from the Providence Improv community and Senior Discount, Chuck regales Brad with some movie driplets - a possible re-visit to the Saw franchise, as well as updates to The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and a Fraggle Rock movie. Chuck then relates a comical misunderstanding online involving one of our good friends and some salacious items on a Wish List.
Chuck and Brad recently went with some pals to see Nick Swardson do stand-up. What did the group think of the show? Chuck talks about some other festive Halloween things they've done recently, then talks about a trip to Salem, MA, and a conflagration with his girlfriend. Brad tells Chuck about his trip to a Jasper Fforde reading/signing, then about his visit to Q Commons, a motivational inspirational lecture series that led to Brad creating a gratitude journal he calls a "brad-itude journal." Chuck thoughtfully considers what he is grateful for from the previous few days and the guyz realize that being thankful for things is good.
Chuck also relates the tale of an online joke that was deleted and expresses his displeasure with the delete-er. A few more news items close out the podcast - Iron Man in Captain America 3? HBO Go for streaming only? And a Marvel Comics Mega-Event that sounds amazing! Wow! Give us a listen!

Episode 179: "The Closure-cast" - Part 2

This is the second episode of our "Closure-Cast" two-parter, and features resident lady-boy, guest Mat Fairchild. Chuck and Brad open with the typical improv and Senior Discount show updates, and then dive immediately into the meat of the discussion; Chuck's "goodbye" to bachelor-hood. This is episode two of Chuck, Brad and Mat discussing Chuck's very intentional past two years of being single, before very recently getting into a serious relationship.
After they wrap up their thoughtful look at current dating, Chuck and Brad bring you three "Mini-Casts". These shorter episodes were recorded over the course of Chuck's single life, and provided an outlet for Chuck to talk about bizarre situations in his dating life. They were recorded when the stories occurred, to be release at a later date, to protect the guilty idiots of which the stories are about.
That later date is now. Eric Maksood joins the party on a few of these very special tales, and the past two years of Chuck's single life are brought to a close.

As promised by Chuck during the episode, he has prepared a "Chuck-rospective" guide; he has prepared a list of previous episodes, for any listeners who'd like to hear some of the more interesting bachelor-hood-related stories recorded over the past two years. Here is his list:
Episode 96: Chuck's Break-Up - Chuck, Brad, Patrick, Lou and B Lau detail the end of Chuck's relationship and our hero begins his journey
Episode 98: Chuck's Trip to Fetish Night - A story from the beginning of Chuck's return to bachelorhood
Episode 107: Chuck and Brad's Stories from Strip Clubs
Episode 124: Chuck and Brad Go Speed Dating
Episode 131: Jamaican Strippers, Dating and 180's - A very noteworthy story about an altercation Chuck had with a local sex-worker
Episode 135: An Affair Gone Awry - Chuck discusses in detail one of his short-term relationships from beginning to end
Episode 171: Now We Know What a Steak Fry Is - Chuck, Brad and guest Brian discuss being a part of the most uncomfortable and obscene stripper situation they've ever seen
Episode 172: TMNT and Relationship Views - Chuck presents the first time where he realizes he may be approaching being open to a relationship, and that his decision to trust a serious commitment again may be right around the corner...

Episode 177: Deadpool movie, Tusk, Friendship?, and Story Brainstorming

The 177th edition of the C&B P-C starts with the typical show announcements from Brad's improv group and Chuck's band - competing shows on the same night! Wow! Chuck then tells Brad some exciting movie news about an upcoming Deadpool film, and our two heroes talk about a particular plot device in the Captain America: Winter Soldier movie and what it may mean going forward. Once future movies are done being discussed, Brad and Chuck talk about their recent trip to see the new Kevin Smith movie "Tusk." What did they think? Listen and find out!
Once the Walrus talk is through, Brad reads an interaction he had online with a lady and talks about how he feels the interaction indicates a lack of interest in him as a human being. The guys talk about that at length, diving into Brad's current pessimism headfist! Woo! But, trying to take this potential negative and turn it to a positive, Brad talks about a short story idea he has and runs it by Chuck and the two try to flesh it out into something a little more...good.

After the customary updates from Brad's improv life and Chuck's band life, Chuck talks briefly about the below Web Coulier and our love for all things Dan Harmon. Chuck tells Brad some news about a forthcoming movie in the Paranormal Activity movie and the guyz talk about how spooked they are about the others.
C&B then talk about the one person running the DiGiorno's Pizza Twitter account, and how he (probably a he) made a huge mistake on Twitter and apologized for it. Chuck found the situation hilarious. Once they move past the hilarity of corporate errors, the guys talk about the specifics of Ray Rice punching his (now) wife in an elevator. Was the NFL's reaction appropriate? How does this relate to Adrian Peterson hitting his child with a switch? Or the other pending domestic violence cases involving NFL players? Chuck and Brad take a long look at the nationally-recognized serious topic of domestic violence.

Episode 175: Boston Calling Fall 2014 and Abe & Fawn's Wedding

The show starts with updates from Brad before kicking to special guest Eric, who promptly pimps his own band, Soundoff, before throwing to Chuck, who provides some Senior Discount updates.
Chuck and Eric recently went to a concert in Boston together. Before they tell that story, though, Brad tells some concert experiences from his youth. Everyone is as amazed as you'd expect. Chuck and Eric then launch into the saga of their evening together at Boston Calling. The weather delay, Eric's attempt to woo a young lady, seeing Lorde on one stage and Childish Gambino on another...a fun event! Eric then tells a concert story of his own before launching into his experiences at the Sunday of Boston Calling. [NOTE: I keep typing 'Boston Falling.' Weird.]
Chuck and Brad take the reins back from their raspy-voiced pal and tell the story of Senior Discount bassist Abe's recent wedding. Chuck and Brad were somehow groomsmen - what mischief did they inflict on the happy couple and their extended family? Did B&C accidentally tie their bow ties together and have to shuffle down the aisle? Which one ended up married to the Justice of the Peace? All this and more! In a move that happens far too often, Brad screws up the intro to this week's episode and Chuck makes a joke about it. After some Brad updates and Senior Discount updates, the guys talk about the below Web Couliers and their feelings thereon. They then talk about their weekend, highlighted by a visit to a local independent wrestling show. Did Chuck powerbomb Brad through a table? No!
The meat of the episode, however, is a discussion about the recent glut of stolen nude photos from celebrities. Chuck and Brad discuss the allure of the case, and their feelings about internet security for celebrities and everyone else. Spoiler alert: both agree that the guy(s?) who stole the pictures are terrible.
Following that, Brad talks about an epiphany he recently had regarding his job and the strain of the white collar he wears. It's a figurative white collar. Contrary to popular beliefs, he is not a priest. The guys talk about the traditional roles of masculinity and how they fit (or don't fit) in the modern world. Chuck swears a lot.

Exciting!
Brad takes the reins next, talking about how he was hoping to start a viral sensation with the Bradley Nice Thing Challenge. It is not viral. They take a second to discuss their feelings on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge currently dominating your social media feed.
Finally, the three amigos talk about the Oddball Comedy Fest 2014. B Lau tells his hellish travel story simply to get to the venue, and all three talk about the cavalcade of comedians they consumed that evening - including a special surprise!
Also, Brad would like to note that the story in this episode (in which he tortures a mouse) is "beyond the statute of limitations". It is a sick, sad, day.

Once the pleasantries are dispensed with, Chuck shares some exciting news about the upcoming film The Ring 3, the Lonely Island movie, and Kevin Smith's next project (which has Johnny Depp involved!). Following those movie driplets, Chuck and Brad review the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. What did they think of Michael Bay's involvement? Who else could have played the Shredder**? How was Will Arnett's performance? These important questions - and more! - are answered.
Following the discussion about CGI and stunts in movies that ends the previous section, Chuck gets personal and talks about relationships and his recent views on them. The boys discuss how they feel about dating and what it means to be single, to be in a relationship, and whether or not relationships are worth it. C&B talk about their trip to a recent Against Me! show in Providence and talk about the energy of the evening. The discussion continues with talk about recent Marvel movie "Guardians of the Galaxy." Chuck talks about the "birthday show" that Senior Discount performed in, and about how the pod pals brought their recording set-up to allow Chuck's friends to record birthday wishes all night (to be posted at the end of this episode).
Chuck talks about his recent visit to Boston Comic-Con to visit Patrick and shop, and Brad talks about going to visit Patrick and resent crowds. The boys then fill in Wade and Brian on the recent show Chuck played with Kris Roe of The Ataris. Was Kris a good guy, or just another celebrity looking to make Brad feel bad?
Finally, Chuck and Brian talk about a disturbing night they had with forty middle-aged men and two strippers. It's pretty gross - even by our lax standards! This is one of the most sexually graphic podcast stories we've done. You've been warned!

Episode 163: First Impressions, E3, and Chuck's New Philosophy

This week's episode starts with some lighthearted banter about the boyz' evening dinner plans and how they had to be adapted. From there, we hear about Brad's upcoming improv shows and Chuck/S*D's upcoming rock shows. Chuck then offers some Movie Driplets (TM pending) about the casting of Gambit, the director of Dr. Strange, and the new director for Ant-Man.
Brad and Chuck then discuss first impressions - how hard it is for Brad to make not only positive first impressions, but any first impressions at all. They talk about why that is, what it should be, and how changes can be made. They also joke about the first impressions people have of Chuck and talk about specific interactions that demonstrate certain aspects of Chuck's personality. (They are later joined by Podcast Pal Niki Holden who offers her take on meeting Brad for the first time.) From there, we hear what C&B have to say about the recent E3 event and the announcements by Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony - what games have the guys foaming at their shared mouth?
Chuck then tells Brad (and you, the podcast audience) about a change in his working situation, and how it is designed to inflict maximum enjoyment on him and everyone around him this summer.

Episode 162: A Million Ways to Die in the West, Days of Future Past, and a Review of the Live Podcast

The podcast opens with Chuck and Brad chatting and giving updates about their respective projects, then immediately segues into discussion about the new movie "A Million Ways to Die in the West." Is it worth seeing? Listen, and find out!
The guys move on to talk about another new movie - X-Men: Days of Future Past. While both Chuck and Brad both enjoyed that movie, they had some issues with continuity involving the other films in the X-Men franchise. However, Chuck and Brad love to focus on solutions (sometimes), and take it upon themselves to craft a storyline that resolves these continuity errors and ACTUALLY DO A GOOD JOB coming up with a plan that makes sense! You're welcome, Stan Lee.
At this point in the evening, Chuck and Brad talk a little bit about the live podcast and pilot premiere, then are joined by Wade Bernier and Tyler Cornell, two guests from the audience of the Live Podcast. They break down the show segment by segment and discuss how they each felt about each piece and how the show (as a whole) compared to the first live podcast. Get some behind-the-scenes scoop on what went in to making this comedy event happen!

Episode 160: Perceptions of Chuck, Godzilla, and The Book of Mormon

Chuck and Brad are joined for this episode by local flame-headed caveman Brian Decoteaux. After some updates about Brad and Chuck, the three talk up next week's Live Podcast - for more information, please see the below Web Coulier. Chuck talks about his weekend, and this leads to an in-depth, revealing conversation about how Chuck feels he is perceived outside of his immediate social circle. He feels as though he is viewed as a villain and wonders why that is.
After that exercise in self-reflection, Brian and Chuck talk about the newly-released Godzilla movie. This review is actually spoiler-free! Finally, the three talk about their recent trip to see The Book of Mormon in Providence. This leads to a discussion about religion, motivation, and the ethical development of society as a whole. Typical Chuck and Brad Podcast stuff.

Episode 159: Music Videos, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Our Top 30 Superhero Movies

This week's show begins with Brad grousing about something or other, then plugging his upcoming improv show. This leads to Brad and Chuck discussing the upcoming live podcast performance and how excited they are for it - link below. They then discuss the Web Coulier for the music video, which leads into a brief discussion about music videos and their place as art. Chuck then offers one tiny driplet of movie news before the guyzos change topics.
Their trip to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was this past weekend - how did they like it? What did they think about it? What were their opinions? Find out the answers to these and many other questions as they discuss the film, first going spoiler-free and then going spoiler-ful for more than the twelve minutes they promise.
A rare planned ranking exercise finds C&B chatting about their favorite superhero movies of the relatively recent past. Which films line up? Which films differ wildly? And what takes home the top spot for each of our heroes? Just...just listen to this week's episode. I'm trying to write a teaser that hints a little bit at the content without giving too much away. It's never an easy job, and honestly, I'm a little tired right now and can't figure anything clever out. - Brad

Episode 156: The Story of Bad Larry, Part Two

It's the return of the Larry! This week, part two of the two-part interview with two "handsome studs" (their words, not ours) from Bad Larry. Chuck and Brad welcome Nick and Walt back to the program (or rather continue with them from last week). After some quick plugs for upcoming gigs, the interview resumes, and we get more old-school Bad Larry/Senior Discount/Providence Music Scene stories and insanity!

Episode 155: The Story of Bad Larry, Part One

A double interview this week! In fact, the double interview was so big it has to be split into two parts! That's pretty much four interviews for the price of none! As Chuck says - "Whoa mama!" This week, Chuck and Brad welcome Nick and Walt from local band Bad Larry into the studio/Chuck's kitchen. After some quick plugs for upcoming gigs, the four scoundrels wax nostalgic about the coming-up days of Bad Larry. Hear about musical influences of the band, learn about Cranston high school band rivalries, the infamous fistfight as VBW House (Was Chuck's head pushed through a window screen? Spoiler alert: Yes.), and other ridiculous stories from the guests (and the hosts). Part two up next week!

Episode 154: The Story of Dan Martin

Another big interview episode! This week the guyzos (part guy, part bozo) meet with local guyzo Dan Martin. After some quick updates concerning projects the three scoundrels are working on, Chuck offers a few movie driplets. News about the Sinister Six movie, the new Truman Show, uh, show, and some shifts in the world of late night television. Chuck then talks about the death of beloved comics character Archie and the exhumation (possibly) of a landfill's worth of ET cartridges. Our three compatriots then chat about the brand new movie "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", and what they thought of it.
The interview itself then begins with Dan's childhood. Hear his unflinching take (well, Brad flinched through most of it) on how his upbringing affected his sense of humor and comedy. What were the pivotal moments that led to him taking on stand-up as an art form, and why does he enjoy it so much? What did Mick Foley tell him about titties? It's a refreshingly clear look at Dan's devotion to art and comedy.

Episode 153: The Story of Eric and Soundoff

It's our second "big interview" podcast, as Chuck and Brad delve deep into the twisted(?) mind of Eric Maksood, lead singer of local band Soundoff. Before we get to all that, though, we get updates on Soundoff's upcoming show, a Brad performance update, and some news from Senior Discount courtesy of Chuck. The boys then wax ecstatic about the possibilities of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer, then talk about an April Fool's Day prank perpetrated ON Chuck, that affected him extremely emotionally.
The interview itself starts with a lot of background on Maksood's...uh...background in music. What songs/instruments motifs influenced him? How did that lead to him forming a band? Hear about the lows and highs of his journey through the Rhode Island music scene with refreshing candor and honesty! And also pretty much every band name he's ever encountered!

Episode 152: New Media, Patrick Rothfuss, and Patton Oswalt

The 152nd installment of this fine program starts with Senior Discount Updates from Chuck, followed by some Brad Updates by Brad. From there, Chuck offers some movie driplets about new shows coming in the future. Chuck then delves into the strange world of giving up DirectTV - how hard is it going to be to watch his favorite shows? How much thinking should one have to do about television? C&B banter about who watches more TV and how they watch it, all the while dodging the real issue - why is it so hard to accurately fast-forward on Hulu?

Once they put that topic to bed, Brad tells the story of going to Cambridge for a reading and signing by renowned fantasy author Patrick Rothfuss. Did Brad meet new people and make new friends? Did Patrick Rothfuss throw away the live podcast DVD Brad handed him? Listen and find out yo'self! Chuck and Brad then tell the story of going to see stand-up comedian Patton Oswalt in Boston on the following night, and then share a few thoughts about the evening.

Episode 151: Dating Insecurities and Argument Styles

Episode 151 gets right into it with some Senior Discount Updates from Chuck, followed by some Brad Updates by Brad. The two then chat about last week's interview segment and plans for the podcast going forward. Chuck talks about the original plan for this week's episode and how it went off the rails, which leads into a discussion of Chuck's argument style. Hear Chuck and Brad reminisce about beautiful arguments in the past!
From there, Brad talks about re-entering the dating game, and how his beard is giving him confidence. They talk about where to meet new people, bar culture, approaching a woman at Target - you know, essential things for dating. From there, Brad asks Chuck about flirting with cute girls online - is he a schmuck like any other guy hitting on these girls? If the girl is in a relationship, what kind of flirting is okay? Does it matter if you know the guy? 21st century questions, finally answered in one place.

Episode 150: The Story of Matt and the Copacetics

Episode 150?!??! Wow! The sesquicentennial episode of Agreeing to Disagree is based chiefly around an interview with Matt Di Chiara, the lead singer for local ska band The Copacetics. Before the guys dive into the interview, though, we get Senior Discount updates and some updates about projects Brad is working on. After that, they discuss the below Web Coulier, before going into some of Chuck's famous Movie Driplets concerning a possible director for the "Uncharted" movie, a remake of Chip N' Dale's Rescue Rangers, and a musical based on Back To The Future.
The guys start talking with Matt about his background as an artist. What led him to music, and to ska music in particular? How does he look at being in a band? What does he think about the local scene? How has art (and specifically music) helped him throughout his life? An engaging look at an incredibly nice human being.

Episode 149: Getting Real About Art

The 149th episode of the Chuck and Brad Podcast starts out, normally enough, with updates about Senior Discount and various productions Brad is involved in. Chuck then tells the story of a recent show experience Senior Discount had, opening for ska legends the Pilfers at Manchester 65 in Warwick RI, and the behind-the-scenes story about booking this show may surprise you (or not). Chuck is really honest here, putting it all "on front street" for Brad's (and your) edification.
This segues into a discussion about music, art, logic, comedy, and relationships over the next two hours. It's an in-depth, honest look at problems the guys are facing in their lives right now. There are also dick jokes.

Episode 146: Seinfeld, Real World Ex-Plosion, and Rock of Ages

A short episode! Wow! Miraculous! C&B start by talking about the rumored Seinfeld reunion and speculating as to what it could be (this was made anticlimactic this past Sunday, but bear with us here). After that, Chuck tries to convince Brad of the genius and majesty of Real World: Ex-Plosion. Brad is skeptical.

Chuck then relates the tale of a family trip to see the musical "Rock of Ages." The play version, not the movie version. He talks about the play and how it felt watching it with his parents. Brad laments the movie Pacific Rim, and the podcast is pretty much over at that point. Crazy. Use the extra time to go back and listen to your favorite episode again.

Episode 145: Dieting, Brad's Bet, and the CM Punk Situation

Chuck and Brad start episode 145 by talking about their ongoing diets and how sad, cold, weak, and miserable they are. They are like if Oliver Twist had an Xbox One. Anyway, they finish their amusing self-pity and move on to some Senior Discount updates, including a show announcement. Brad follows with some sad news about his improv side project. Chuck offers some tantalizing tidbits of TV information, then the two dive into an intense interpersonal discussion.
Brad and Chuck were part of a group that watched a recent wrestling event together, and a small contest was made of their group's participation. When it came time to pay the piper, Brad...didn't. Find out how Chuck feels about this and Brad's reasoning behind his (in)action!
Interpersonal issues aside, the guyz take a look at one of the hottest issues in sports entertainment today - where has CM Punk gone, and why did he go there?

Chuck and Brad kick off episode 144 with talk about their new diets and the progress so far - not just physically, but in terms of how eating light impacts their masculinity and self-worth. After some quick Senior Discount updates, Chuck offers a few movie driplets - a Naked Gun reboot, a new TV show from two comedians we love, Jurassic World casting news, Clerks 3 casting news, and hints about the new show Gotham.
From there, Chuck and Braddo talk about the character Quicksilver, and his upcoming appearance in two very separate movies owned by Fox and by Disney (the second "Avengers" movie and the fifth "X-Men" outing). Our two protagonists are baffled as to how this can be. Chuck then relates the tale of Tenacious D's "Festival Supreme" from this past autumn - Chuck and Brad are "wicked jealous" they didn't get to attend. The WWE Network is then discussed and dissected - how do Brad and Chuck feel? Finally, the boyz lament the Wii U and its negative sales forecast. Will Nintendo go the way of Sega to focus on software?
