#531 - The Jackass Forever Trailer, Loki - Season 1, and Black Widow

We kick things off this week with some listener mail! Specifically, the emails we answered last week but had to cut out of a pretty-lengthy recording session! You know what that means - BONUS RAY HARRINGTON! WOO! Chuck and I then wax ecstatic about the trailer for Jackass Forever. We talk about our relationship with Jackass over the past twenty-two(?) years. We then offer our spoiler-free thoughts on the season of Loki on Disney Plus, then our spoiler-free thoughts on Black Widow. #524 - Chuck Gets Toasted and Brad Gets Ghosted

Chuck opens by telling me how he tried to reduce the skimp-age on his Panera order. I counter with a tip for reducing the skimpage at Chipotle or other burrito places. Chuck tells me about the Mark Normand documentary he assembled (?) and the Patreon's success. We then talk about our sun-filled weekend. A nice long walk on the bike path, a pool day, some seafood, shaved shoulders, electric bikes, maximum SPF numbers...really getting into a summer feeling! We get WEIRD during this conversation! We then focus on some news, with the renewal of "I Think You Should Leave," the 30 for 30 about Space Jam 2, Rob Zombie's The Munsters, a possible Sunset Overdrive sequel, a new behind-the-scenes of Disney Parks show, and our excitement for Loki and the next Thor movie. I then talk about a woman ghosting me after listening to a previous episode of the podcast.

Episode 339: Jackass: The Game, A Chuck-Posal for Brad, and Thor: Ragnarok

We're back, baby! Our first Non-Halloween episode in a while! We also have a Lego (compatible) Giveaway! Oh papa! We read some listener emails and discuss "Jackass: The Game." We talk about the below Web Couliers and I admit to being frightened of a pretty bad old horror movie. Chuck reads a press release for an alternative to Rhode Island Comic-Con and we talk about the weird world of receiving press releases and how we treat them. We talk about the possibility of Marvel acquiring some film rights from 20th Century Fox and what that would mean for the MCU. Chuck gives an in-hand review of MoviePass (mine has been ordered) and we talk about the future for the service.
Chuck gets real for a moment and talks about a big switch he's making in terms of careers and creativity and I lament my diametrically-opposite work situation. We talk about being accepted to submit jokes through the Pitch app (and make a legally binding agreement to submit more often). Chuck offers some "Chuck-posals" for next year's Halloween podcasts. Chuck then tells me about his recent trip to New Hampshire with Gina's family. I tell the story of my not-great improv workshop experience, then about seeing Taylor Leonhardt at a house show over the weekend. We then give our SPOILER-FREE review of Thor: Ragnarok.
