We are joined by Brian Decoteaux and Nic Hallenbeck for our annual Halloween podcast. We talk about the Halloween/autumnal things we've done over the past month, concluding in a brief recap of the first ever Chuck and Brad's Halloween Spook-tacular Live Comedy Show! I read my prediction for what Chuck's prank on me was and everything!
We revisit our favorite yearly repeated bit - Rejected Halloween Costumes! We talk about new Halloween favorites: The Cinematic Oblivion Podcast's "Slasher Series," the Brooklyn 99 Halloween Heist episodes, The "With Derek and Ray" Halloween podcasts, and the recent Cracked Movie Club podcasts about 'Halloween' and 'The Thing.' Finally, Chuck provides the solution to a problem that's been troubling our Halloween podcasts for years - the nonsensical special "Halloween is Grinch Night." Chuck solves the logistical problems and links ALL the Grinch movies with one common thread. Take a listen!

Episode 288: Halloween 2016!

We're joined by Nic Hallenbeck and Brian Decoteaux for our annual Halloween episode! Chuck and I talk about the spooky things we've done this month to stay festive. We discuss Stranger Things, the documentary Tales of Rocky Point Park, and Hocus Pocus. We go through Chuck's favorite annual tradition - Rejected Halloween Costumes! It's a blast. Chuck updates us on the Grinchverse, and also adds a few songs to his Halloween playlist. Chuck and I recap and review Pet Sematary 2 (terrible!) Finally, Gina Mastrostefano joins the podcast to present a game - Chuck and I play this game, with the loser having to endure the most brutal punishment imaginable - doing a book report on the "biography" of WWE "superstar" Kane! (the biography is NOT about the real wrestler who plays the character, it's ACTUALLY about the fictional character - this book is so bad)

Episode 232: Halloween 2015 - Costumes, Celebration, and The Grinchverse

This installment is our annual Halloween episode! We are joined (as with previous Halloween episodes) by local ne'er-do-wells Brian Decoteaux and Nic Hallenbeck. The guys plug some upcoming projects, then mention the below Web Couliers. Chuck recaps his (and Brad's) Halloween experiences from this year, and Brad tells a brief tale of mistaken identity at a party he recently attended. Chuck tells the guys about the most recent additions to his Halloween playlist and explains the rationale behind it.
The guys continue to have fun exploring ridiculous costume ideas, with the idea that they could all be rejected ideas. Chuck pulls up an article about this year's Simpsons Halloween episode, then mentions Teefury's holiday collection.
Things take a turn for poignancy when Chuck poses the question - what should an adult's relationship with Halloween be? And the final topic of the evening is the continuation of LAST year's extended Grinch-verse conversation. Ridiculous.

Episode 182: Halloween 2014

Chuck and Brad are joined by Halloween "experts" Nic Hallenbeck and Brian Decoteaux for a spooky talk about the spookiest season of the year! After some chatter about upcoming events and the below Web Coulier, the guys break into topic number one - the animated special known as "Halloween Is Grinch Night." Is it good? How does it fit into the extended Grinch-verse? Hear the unbiased, uncensored review!
The second topic is brainstorming - costume ideas and treat ideas. And while Brad doesn't have many ideas, rest assured they are better than any of the ideas Chuck solicited from friend of the podcast Eric Maksood.
Chuck then offers his Ultimate-As-Of-Now Halloween Playlist. A ton of songs from a ton of bands! The guys discuss the appropriateness of the songs mentioned and offer suggestions of their own. Listen soon and get in the Halloween "spirit!" (Even that is better than Maksood's jokes.)
