#527 - Bo Burnham's "Inside," Fast and Furious 9 (AKA: F9), and Chuck Goes to Fenway!

We kick off this week discussing getting frustrated with other people for little things - who is at fault here? We talk about our previous few weeks, including Chuck's exciting projects with Tuesdays with Stories and Tell 'Em Steve-Dave. We dive into listener emails (just realized we missed one) about AEW, vests, video game playtime, and correcting an error in our Franchise Flashback. From there, we talk about the Bo Burnham comedy special "Inside." Chuck talks about going to the Red Sox game and experiencing MLB crowds for the first time ever. We then offer spoiler-free thoughts on the newest chapter in the Fast Saga; F9! We then make it very clear we're going into spoiler territory before taking a deep dive into our thoughts and feelings about F9! Vin Diesel! John Cena! Magnets! Space! Wow!

#526 - Franchise Flashback: The Fast and Furious Saga (Part 2 of 2)

Do you want to go see the upcoming 9th "Fast and Furious" movie, but you've never seen any of the previous films? If so, the CB pod is here to (continue to) solve your dilemma.
It's a continuation! Maybe even a sequel! We tell our hasn't-seen-the-films friend Brian Lau about more of the Fast and Furious Films! This episode kicks off with "Fast and Furious 6" and takes us through The Fate of the Furious, as well as spinoff "Hobbs and Shaw!" I also talk about the cartoon that has three seasons on Netflix! Is the cartoon more or less realistic than the films? Listen and find out! This is part 2 of 2 in our Franchise Flashback for the "Fast and Furious" saga.

#525 - Franchise Flashback: The Fast and Furious Saga (Part 1 of 2)

Do you want to go see the upcoming 9th "Fast and Furious" movie, but you've never seen any of the previous films? If so, the CB pod is here to solve your dilemma.
Who's ready to live their life a quarter-mile at a time? We're joined by Brian Lau to find out the answer to that through explaining the ENTIRE TIMELINE of the "Fast and Furious" film saga. This episode finds us looking at the original "The Fast and The Furious" through "Fast Five," as well as multiple other films that link some of the movies, and the character Han's origins in the film "Better Luck Tomorrow." B Lau has not seen most of these movies, and we do our best to get him up to "speed" on the plots, characters, and transition from sort-of-realistic street racing film to "the coolest driving sequence we can remember." This is part 1 of 2 in our Franchise Flashback for the "Fast and Furious" saga.

#517 - Parking Morality, Fast Food Innovations, and More Appreciation For Borat

I botch our intro, but Chuck saves the day with a lengthy aside. We discuss the morality of parking in reserved parking spaces after-hours. We go through some listener emails and talk about the future of the pod, new media, merch, then get off on a tangent about fast food. It is a lengthy tangent. We talk about the trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Vin Diesel's Rock 'Em Sock'Em Robots project, and Chuck tells me about a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff from Borat 2. We close with a discussion of Chuck's recent Jersey trip and filming with the TESD guys.

Episode 116: The Hangover Series and The Fast and the Furious Saga

Chuck and Brad are joined by local rascal Mat Fairchild for this edition of the podcast. After some good-natured joshing, Chuck tells the conclusion to last week's story involving the "Green Jell-o" series of shows and some fallout from that. Chuck unveils a new Brad taunt that Brad totally falls for.
Once that is complete, Chuck and Brad review "The Hangover" series of films. There are plenty of spoilers from the first two, and extremely mild spoilers for the most recent Hangover movie, still in theaters.
Following that is an exhaustive review of the "The Fast and the Furious" saga to this point. All six of the movies are discussed and reviewed at length (although some plot details are a bit fuzzy). Seriously, the plots for all six are discussed, so if you don't want the plots of these movies spoiled for you, watch the movies, THEN listen to this episode.
Also, Chuck and Brad get Mat to shoot milk out of his nose. Coffee milk. Seriously.
