Episode 282: Super Mario Run, Rob Lowe Roast, and CM Punk's UFC Debut

The 282nd installment begins with some show updates, then goes to the movie driplets. Jurassic World is going to be a trilogy - guess how excited Chuck is for that? We learn who the villain will be for the third Wolverine movie, and talk about the upcoming Stan Lee biopic. Nintendo recently announced an endless runner game coming to iOS systems - we have feelings about this. Chuck laments the news that the upgraded PS4 will not have a 4K blu-ray drive. I remain ambivalent.
We talk about the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe and try to figure out why we didn't like it as much as previous roasts. Chuck talks about his struggle to get Green Day tickets, but gets excited about the chance to see Reel Big Fish play one of their albums live.
We close the show by talking extensively about CM Punk's venture into mixed martial arts. Unsurprisingly, we are firmly in his corner, and passionately defend his stance to an uncaring MMA community.

Episode 263: The Story of Brian Beaudoin

Another one of our world-famous interview episodes! This week features stand-up comic Brian Beaudoin joining us in the studio. After some quick show plugs, Chuck shares a movie driplet, Brad shares the misadventures of his car, then the interview begins. We talk with Brian about his start in comedy, the transition to booking, and our plans/goals for the future. Brian is open and funny and I think the fact that we had a genuinely good time is evident throughout the episode.

Episode 109: Live Events: Nick Offerman, Tenacious D Acoustic, Demetri Martin, Stephen Lynch

Chuck and Brad open this episode by discussing some of the below Web Couliers and their excitement about upcoming projects. They move from there to some quick movie reviews, some of which they actually watched separately. After that, Chuck issues a rare statement of regret involving Episode 108: The Chuck Staton Rejection Trials.
The meat of the podcast, however, is recaps of specific life events the boyz attended over the past six weeks or so. They saw the Nick Offerman "American Swine" tour and talk about that experience. After that is a very brief discussion about the Tenacious D acoustic show at Lupo's in Providence, and how one fan can impact other fans at a concert. A trip to Northampton to see stand-up from Demetri Martin resulted in the fun, positive experience we've come to expect. They also attended an excellent Stephen Lynch concert in Boston and dealt with some post-show odd moments. Brad went with a non-Chuck-based friend to see the Young@Heart chorus in Worcester as well, and part one of this two-part podcast closes there.
