#550 - Behind The Scenes of Chuck and Brad's Best Christmas Show Ever 2021

We just finished a weekend of live shows and we're here to talk about it! Our first stop was Smodcastle in New Jersey - how did my drive to that neck of the woods go? Then back to our home club, The Comedy Connection, in East Providence, RI! How did things go comically awry, and how much of that was intended? We dish all the dirt! We read some listener emails and answer some probing questions about Christmas before signing off! Have a great holiday season, ya filthy animals!

#472 - Brad's Coffee Clumsiness, Chuck Loves "90-Day Fiancee," and Saving Silverman

When you get coffee for other people, where do you put it in your car? And how did that work out for Brad this week? We talk about my instant karma, then Chuck gushes - almost inappropriately so - about his fondness for the show "90-Day Fiance." We talk about new HBO Podcasts and a new EP from The Front Bottoms. Chuck tells me about his night out at the socially-distanced Comedy Connection in Providence, then about meals at Metacom Kitchen, La Pinata, Butterbang Croissants, and Vienna Bakery. Wow! So much food! I talk about my experience watching the Artemis Fowl movie on Disney Plus, we talk about DL Hughley collapsing on stage, and we close with Chuck's affectionate take on the movie "Saving Silverman."

#360 - Our Weekend At Big Apple Comic-Con

After last week's amazing interview episode (seriously, Casey Jost is such a good dude!), we reconvene in Chuck's kitchen to record a recap episode. We talk about the birth of our "Avengers" bit and how it went over at the Comedy Connection in Rhode Island. We then took the show on the road to NYC to perform it at the Big Apple Comic-Con. What colorful characters did we interact with there? How did the show go over? And man oh man, where did we EAT in New York? For the first time in podcast history, I was more excited about a meal than Chuck was. I can't believe it either. Hear how we befriended Jennifer Cihi and Johnathon Schaech and listen to two comedians navigate the unfamiliar, unmarked path of pop-culture-multimedia-comedy!

Episode 263: The Story of Brian Beaudoin

Another one of our world-famous interview episodes! This week features stand-up comic Brian Beaudoin joining us in the studio. After some quick show plugs, Chuck shares a movie driplet, Brad shares the misadventures of his car, then the interview begins. We talk with Brian about his start in comedy, the transition to booking, and our plans/goals for the future. Brian is open and funny and I think the fact that we had a genuinely good time is evident throughout the episode.

Episode 245: Local Restaurants, Daddy's Home, and Our Second Stand-Up Sets

The newest 'pisode - number 245 - is a return to form for our two fellows. After some updates, Chuck drops some movie driplets about the movie Halloween Returns, then some mind-boggling speculation about Avengers: Infinity War. Brad debuts a new segment cursing Chuck for the thoughtful Christmas gift Chuck provided, then the guys talk about Brad's pending court date. Brad gives a health update on his father, then the guys briefly talk about "Making A Murderer" and Netflix streaming in general.
Both C&B have been to some delicious restaurants lately - where were these culinary Shangri-Las? In addition, Chuck and Brad recently went to see Daddy's Home - they review the movie and discuss PG-13 comedies in general. The final element to the cast is a thorough review of our own stand-up sets from the recent show at the Comedy Connection. How did it go? HOW DID IT GO?!?!?!

Episode 225: Patrick's Move, Our Comedy Connection Recap, and Stress

Episode 225 finds Brad and Chuck each pimping some upcoming shows. After that, it's a dip into the well of Web Couliers, then some refreshing Movie Driplets. Chuck tells Brad about the futuristic Zorro reboot, as well as casting news from the Disney Jungle Cruise movie. A quick review of Summerslam leads to a longer discussion about the Senior Discount show a few nights later, and some internal issues the band is facing.
After that, Chuck and Brad talk about their recent foray into standing while talking into microphones - how did their set at the Comedy Connection go? After that, Brad talks about some of the stress he's been dealing with recently.

Episode 224: The Story of Rob Pierce

Our 224th foray into podcasting starts with Gina Mastrostefano providing a cameo appearance! She and Chuck tell the story of parking lot vigilantism; Brad remains unconvinced. After that, local standup comic Rob Pierce joins Chuck and Brad. The three guys talk about the upcoming show at the Comedy Connection and then dive into some movie news, including the announcement regarding Star Wars Theme Parks!
The interview with Rob starts with a thorough discussion of his musical background and covers a lot of territory. The guys make their way around to Rob's comedy career and the challenges and opportunities that come with that. It's a fun look* into the mind of a very funny man.
