#422 - Spider-Man: Far From Home, Our Independence Weeks, and Stranger Things 3

Big talk this week! Chuck and I haven't talked to each other in over a week! We talk about weird things that happened today including a call center employee going off on me over the phone! We talk about our shows together in Hartford and East Providence and all the events surrounding them. After that, I regale Chuck with my tale of family time back in Indiana and he tells me about changing traditions out here in Rhode Island. Once we are caught up on our weeks, we discuss Stranger Things season 3 (no spoilers), then give a spoiler-free review of Spider-Man: Far From Home. After a very clear warning, we then launch into a spoiler-full discussion of the film and include everything we liked and didn't like. But most of it is like.

Episode 320: Venom in the MCU, the SNES Classic, and Zoobilee 2017

Back in the studio again this week! Chuck and I talk about the new Jurassic World movie and wildly speculate about the plot. We then speculate about the plot of "Jigsaw," the new film in the "Saw" franchise. We then turn our attention to the news that the status of Venom in relation to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and continue our wild speculation about whether our symbiotic pal will make the leap to the MCU and how that could work. From there, we talk about the SNES Classic and whether or not it is worth a purchase. I defend the 16-bit game "Bubsy." We talk about our recent few weeks, including Senior Discount's show with the Toasters, an extended behind-the-scenes (from our points of view) of the Reel Big Fish interview(s). Chuck and Gina relate the story of Roger Williams' Zoobilee 2017 to me - Zoobilee being an annual fundraiser for the Roger Williams Zoo that features food from dozens of Providence restaurants and also Chuck messing up the mojo of the on-site band. We finish with a new segment that we brainstorm on the podcast and have fun doing so. Fun week!

Episode 107: Chuck and Brad's Stories From Strip Clubs

After some typical 100% clever back and forth, the boyz broach the heart of this week's podcast: Chuck's recent trip to a gentleman's club in Providence - and I assure you, he was FAR from the gentlest man there.

Once they finish Chuck's harrowing tale of loss and heartache, they talk about Brad's past trips to strip clubs, which segues into a discussion about the service industry, fakeness, and attitudes toward strip clubs going forward.
