#470 - Judd Apatow's Comedy Documentaries, Frank Turner/NoFX Collaoration, and "I'm Lactose"

We start out with our feelings on the Black Lives Matter movement. Spoiler alert: we support it. After that, Chuck claims that people often say "I'm lactose" when they mean "I'm lactose intolerant" and I am NOT having it. Chuck shares some lil' stories from his past week including losing a credit card. We discuss the Frank Turner/NoFX split album coming out in July, then talk about the upcoming Judd Apatow-produced George Carlin documentary. Chuck tries to get me excited for some new Metal Slug games, then we speculate about casting additions to the MCU. I talk about movies I've watched recently, including Hell or High Water. Chuck raves about his renewed love for This Is The End, then offers thoughts on Zombieland 2. He tells me about starting the show Breaking Bad, then we close with a quick discussion about his new car and look to social media to find out if other people are cool with "I'm lactose."

#463 - Chris Graue, the Amazing Johnathan Documentary, and So-Bad-They're-Good Movies

We start out this week with a quick greeting, and then dive into a Skype interview with our pal Chris Graue. Chris has directed music videos and promo videos and any other needed video things for a huge number of punk and ska bands. We talk with him about his start and his involvement in the music scene. What a good dude! After that winds up, we are joined by another good dude - Ray Harrington! We discuss some comedy and improv news (Seinfeld! Oswalt! Middleditch/Schwartz!), then riff on the Doogie Howser, MD reboot on Disney Plus. We then discuss Ben Berman's Hulu documentary on The Amazing Johnathan. A fascinating film! After a quick toss to RI Food Fights' own Jim Nellis, we discuss some films I watched recently that weren't great. This leads me to ask the question "When does a movie go from bad to so-bad-it's-good?" A fun discussion follows!

#412 - Cokie the Clown, Our Comedy Tour Recap, and Avengers: Endgame

Action-packed this week! We are joined by Gina Mastrostefano, Lou Perella, and Abe Correia to discuss a bunch of stuff! We start by recapping our Hartford comedy show from last week and discuss the highs and lows we went through there. After that, we talk about a trip to NYC to see NoFX's lead singer Fat Mike perform a set as his alter-ego Cokie the Clown. How depressing was the set, and how did we feel about it? After that, we talk about the highs and lows of our comedy show in New York, then about the lows and lows of our show in Boston. (Not a typo. Lows AND lows.) After recapping our very busy weekend, we finally discuss our SPOILER-FREE thoughts on Avengers: Endgame. We then make it perfectly clear when we're about to shift into spoiler-full territory and do so, giving our thoughts and feelings on the movie that concludes Marvel's 22-movie "Infinity Saga." Get excited to hear about how much and how often and how hard we cried in the theater!

We discuss the movie Action Point, then talk about Senior Discount playing at PVDFest and the Good People Doing Good benefit show in the same day. We talk with Sweet Babylon about their new album and their upcoming show, then Chuck and I talk about our recent Jurassic Park-themed show at the Comedy Connection. Chuck tells us all about hosing the Providence Motif Food Truck Awards and we all get to thinking about how good food is. There's a little more nonsense as we close, but what's a little nonsense between pals?

We review a Norm MacDonald stand-up show, then talk about a new favorite eatery in Providence. We discuss Ferris Bueller and which character is Chuck and which is Brad. We talk about the new NOFX book, then take a deep breath and dive into a thorough discussion of the recent iteration of "The Jungle Book." Maksood brings a lot of knowledge to the table, which is good. He also brings his Christopher Walken impression...less good. Chuck talks about his trip to see Tell 'Em Steve-Dave in Brooklyn, then he and I discuss our stand-up sets from a few weeks ago. We talk about going to see Adam Sandler live and what a crazy set it was. We talk about our Memorial Day activities, then thoroughly discuss the recent CD release show from Maksood's (other) band, Soundoff. A fun episode!

Episode 262: Memory Lane with Lou, Dana Carvey, and Being Evel

We are joined this week by esteemed chef and disesteemed human Lou Perella. After some quick Chuck and Brad updates, Lou presents a treasure trove of things he's found while cleaning out his old basement - tons of old WWF Magazines! Chuck then gives us all some movie driplets about the Wet Hot American Summer sequel, The Punisher series, Chuck Palahniuk's Snuff as a TV series, and a Puppet Master reboot. We also talk about Space Jam 2 starring Lebron James, as well as Jon Favreau directing another Marvel movie, and Seth McFarlane's next TV project.
Chuck then brings up the Civil War II storyline starting in Marvel comics and talks about some other Civil War stuff. We talk about the proper pronoun for a baby, a recent NoFX show, our trip to see Dana Carvey, and the recent WWE Payback show. Chuck then tells me and Lou all about the documentary Being Evel and how interesting the life of Evel Knievel was. Then the provider of this week's "Jurassic Snark" is none other than ol' Lou!

Episode 246: Chuck's New Jersey Trip, Enemy, and Diversity in Media

Episode 246 starts on an aimless road...an aimless road that leads to Full House, as Chuck and Brad talk about the plots of specific episodes of Full House. This was all in an attempt to introduce the below Web Couliers. Chuck talks about some movie news about Spider-Man and Quentin Tarantino. Separately. Chuck and Brad talk about the 2013 movie Enemy and how they received it. Chuck relays some news about upcoming Dying Light DLC and a new NOFX book. Also separately.
Chuck and Gina recently took a trip to New Jersey. How did it go? Where did they eat? Did Chuck do the Stanky Leg? (No.) Brad then talks about some books he's read recently, which leads into a talk about diversity in media and Chuck and Brad admit their ignorance with a desire to be better. This talk of privilege segues beautifully into Brad's anticlimactic appearance in the Providence Municipal Court!

Episode 235: Slave Leia is No More! and Back to the Future

Episode 235 of the C&B PC has two special guests - Gina Mastrostefano and Patrick Dennis! After everyone cruelly taunts Patrick for his new haircut, the guys publicize some upcoming events. Movie Driplets are discussed, including Marvel Phase 2 Collector's Sets, a reboot of the "Dragon Tattoo" series, news on Bad Santa 2, a 20th Century Fox theme park in Dubai, an Aliens sequel being shelved, and Aziz Ansari's new TV show. Whew!
They return to the topic of crossovers to clarify some points a listener had brought up, Chuck reads insults he Tweeted about WWE Superstar Kane, there's talk of a wrestling-themed soap opera, Streetlight Manifesto is being sued by their former label, and there's a NoFX autobiography coming out! Also, they react to the news that there will be no new Star Wars merchandise featuring "Slave Leia". What the-?
The heart of this episode, though, is the film series Back to the Future and its legacy. With the coming (and going) of the "future date" from Back to the Future 2, everyone marvels at the film's enduring popularity. Our four hardy souls share their feelings about the film and their experiences with it. Chuck also claims Indiana Jones is a cowboy.

Once again, Chuck and Brad are joined by Eric Maksood, in his first appearance as a member of Senior Discount. After introducing the first Web Coulier about Jerry Seinfeld and Wale, conversation turns to the second, as the three idiots discuss NoFX lead singer's interaction with a fan. Chuck drops some movie news on the group, spilling the beans about the forthcoming film Geezer, starring, among others, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong.
Maksood has some stories after that. He shamelessly brags about taking a young lady's virginity when he was in England, then relays the tale of the time he was in the "American Idol Experience" at Disney World. Maksood is a weird dude.
Chuck and Brad try to run down the events of the past month, beginning with a Rob Zombie movie night. What did they think of House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and Lords of Salem?
