#548 - Chuck Loves Hawkeye, Brad's Memory Lane, and The Deli Encounter

We start out by welcoming my new Secret Santa pals to the podcast, as I'm certain they're listening. Chuck accuses me of plying him with alcohol in a bit that I hated immediately. Chuck talks about the move to Staten Island. He waxes ecstatic about the Disney Plus series Hawkeye, which I am not caught up on. Our ecstacy wanes as we discuss the MCU movie "Eternals." At that point, we remember we need to plug our upcoming shows at Smodcastle and the Comedy Connection. Chuck tells me about Ghostbusters: Afterlife, then we talk about the effects of his COVID diagnosis. From there, I talk about my trip to Indiana and the discovery of notes from a high-school sweetheart. Chuck then talks about a possible new sweetheart he encountered at the deli counter at the supermarket near his Staten Island place. We then close with a new segment called "Staton Island," where Chuck talks about how he spends his time at his place in New York to make the lonely hours seem less lonely.

#545 - Pitch Doctors: Ghostbusters Sequel Ideas from Chuck, Brad, and Ray

After a quick but necessary disclaimer from Ray Harrington, we are on the way! We discuss the two original Ghostbusters films and our thoughts on them (with the tangents you'd expect from Chuck, Brad, and Ray)! We then offer up our own original ideas for Ghostbusters sequels, completely unaffiliated with anything after the first two films! We had a ton of fun recording this ep! - Brad

#512 - Movie Theaters Reopening, Reindeer Games (for some reason), and Chuck Films And Edits Like A Madman

Why does temptation always attack when you are trying to eat healthy? Chuck laments that while celebrating his feast. I talk about the movies Richard Jewell and Ford v Ferrari. We talk about our 2022 appearance (?) on The Geek Boat and wonder what that will be like. We discuss our feelings about the upcoming Justice League Snyder Cut. We talk about our feelings on returning to movie theaters in th near future. We discuss the upcoming Ghostbusters film and our relationships with the previous films in the franchise. Chuck talks about the upcoming video game "TMNT: Shredder's Revenge," we discuss tongue-in-cheek accusations of joke theft, then I talk about the short fan film "Batman: Dying Is Easy." Chuck and I differ in excitement levels for Kong vs Godzilla, then share excitmeent about the upcoming documntary about Stone Cold Steve Austin. We discuss cremation and the best way to cremate me. We discuss Body Count winning a Grammy, then Chuck recaps the entire plot of the film "Reindeer Games." Spoilers abound. Once we have revisited Ben Affleck's work, Chuck tells me about his weekend in New Jersey filming for Smodcast and Tell Em Steve-Dave.

Episode 273: Warped Tour, Ghostbusters, and The Story of No Plateau

Before we are joined by our special guests, we have news to recap and recount! Because we're such cool big shots, we covered the Warped Tour as press! What does that mean? We're still trying to figure that out! Who was our favorite band? How did we avoid sunburn? How do chicken fingers relate to an erection? We answer all of those questions (even though that last one is pretty self-explanatory). We also review the new Ghostbusters movie and discuss what we liked and what we didn't about the film.
From there, we are joined by Christian Staton and Sean Murphy of Providence-based band No Plateau. We immediately learn that Christian has a depraved past and don't let go of it the entire episode. We also learn about their forays into music, how they got together, and the story behind their new EP, No One But Me.

Episode 198: Ghostbusters, Project Almanac and Wrestlemania Predictions

We are joined in episode 198 by Senior Discount bassist Abe Correia and Podcast Pal/Other Band Guy Brian Decoteaux. The episode kicks off with Brian relating a terrible tragedy he experienced in the morning; good laughs are had by all (except Brian). Brad and Chuck promote their upcoming shows, including Senior Discount playing Tuesday, February 10, at DV8 in Providence.
After a quick chat about the below Web Couliers, C tells A, B, and B about some movie news, including information about release windows for the next Paranormal Activity movie and a new chapter in the Ring series. The four bozos talk about the casting of the new Ghostbusters movie and share their opinions, educated and otherwise. They talk about how the entire Wet Hot American Summer cast is coming back for the Netflix series, regardless of its beautiful unlikelihood.
Chuck then chimes in - he won this year's "Royal Rumble" bet, and the winner gets to "change VBW history" - how will he do it? The answer may surprise you! Brad and Chuck discuss the recent film Project Almanac, then Brad talks about the Less Than Jake/Reel Big Fish show he recently attended. They chat about Sunset Overdrive, Chuck talks about the new Saints Row game as well as Dying Light, then shift into mainstream pop culture mode and discuss the ending of the Super Bowl.
Once that is complete, the four stallions set their sights on Wrestlemania and discuss possible matches and storylines we'll see in the months ahead.
