2020 was an odd year. We talk about what our plans were coming into 2020 and how things ended up for us. In this episode, we make it through the first six months of a bizarre year and talk about creative endeavors, safety measures, and me throwing a shrieking fit at work. I came close to another one yesterday! Enjoy!

#498 - Christmas 2020 - The Rohrer You Know: Frosty, The Grinch, and Rudolph
This is a special Christmas episode! Rather that sit in a studio/my kitchen to record, Chuck and I are mobile! We drive around and look at Christmas lights to boost our holiday spirit! And hopefully yours! After a quick tale of game-console-related retail success this season, we then offer "The Rohrer You Know" - a segment in which I educate Chuck on things he'd like to know about! In this case, we look at three popular TV specials: Frosty the Snowman, Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas!, and Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer. In between stopping at houses to gawp at the marvelous displays, I provide Chuck with trivia and behind-the-scenes information about these Christmas classics! I also offer a plot synopsis of the sequel "Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas In July" and it is absolutely bonkers. We close with a listener email and drive home safely!

We also include clips from some of our previous Christmas episodes, but be warned - these clips tell a few NSFW stories! Merry Christmas!

#495 - Listener Emails, Warner Bros vs Theaters, and Chappelle vs Streaming
We start out this week with a bushel full of listener emails! Including one that is very controversial to our Chuck and Brad hearts! Chuck talks about why there hasn't been a Brian Quinn interview on TESD Town History yet and his affection for Trey Parker and Matt Stone. We talk about new Christmas songs from the Dropkick Murphys and the Offspring (same song!). Chuck talks about a self-improvement goal with hopes talking about it on the podcast will result in increased accountability. We talk about our Thanksgiving weekends (including Chuck's trip to film with Tell 'Em Steve Dave), then about the charity table read for It's A Wonderful Life, starring Pete Davidson as George Bailey. Chuck tells me about Tales of the Uncanny, as well as his profound affection for the game Tetris Effect (he's playing it in my living room as I write this synopsis). We gush about the documentary series Marvel's 616 and then break into the big news items of the week. Warner Bros plans to release some of its biggest 2021 films into theaters and on HBO Max at the same time - what does that mean for theaters? For movies? And then we talk about HBO Max and Netflix streaming Chappelle's Show, and Dave Chappelle not seeing any money from the deal. Controversy!

#442 (Archive Ep) - The Story of Nana and Papa
We have a ton of new listeners, and we think you all deserve a special holiday "Archive Episode!" Thanksgiving is a time for family. And what better way to celebrate family than by inviting Chuck's 90-something-year-old grandparents on the podcast? We learn all about their childhoods in the 1930s, Papa's job during WWII, everything Nana did on the homefront...then we learn about how they met, dated, and their early married life. We get some adorably scandalous stories about Chuck's mom and learn about being a judge in Rhode Island. A very fun conversation and celebration! Happy Thanksgiving!

Whose heart needs warming? After a Chuck-and-Brad-only intro involving listener emails, we get into it! We speak with Chuck and Pat Staton (Chuck's parents) and talk about their Thanksgivings growing up and the Staton family celebrations thereafter. This extends into a further discussion about holidays and hospitality and I really think you'll feel like you're one of the family! This is a very special holiday episode!

#493 - Chuck Gets Blackmailed, The Greatest Showman, and Weirdos At Thanksgiving
Chuck and I are back! We start out with an update on the latest video Chuck completed for Tell Em Steve-Dave and Chuck is PSYCHED about it. I talk about my progress in sitcom class, then we read an email from a listener Down Under! It's only slightly injurious to my pride! Chuck tells me about the WNUF Halloween Special, then we talk about the 2020 release of The Invisible Man. Chuck tells me about his Halloween celebration, which concluded with him watching the documentary American Murder: The Family Next Door. We segue into some COVID talk and speculate about the vaccine giving me superpowers. Judd Apatow has a movie going straight to streaming, and there's a podcast documentary series coming soon about David Cross. We talk about the Darkwing Duck reboot, then things take a dark turn. Chuck is being blackmailed by a scammer! Will we all soon receive videos of Chuck's private moments? Things turn back around as Chuck gushes about his recent watch of The Greatest Showman, then we talk about The Prestige. And our final topic of the evening concerns Thanksgiving - should you invite strangers to your meal (in normal years) and if so, what is the correct ratio of weirdos to your normal group?

Howdy, y'all! We start off this week with some listener emails, including two from pals in the Great White North! Wow! As you definitely know, Chuck and our friend Lou Perella recently drove to Austin. Last week was part one - almost to Nashville. This week is Part Two - Nashville to Austin! And then two days in Austin! We review and comment on their trips to many different restaurants and coffee shops and collectible stores and hotels and...did they encounter homophobia? Maybe! Unconfirmed! What happened to make them feel the slightest bit unsafe, COVID-wise? And how could they eat so, so much??!?

#491 - Chuck's Road Trip to Texas (Part 1 of 2)
I (Brad) unwittingly introduce this episode as 492. How embarrassing! After a quick dip into some listener emails and Chuck's British accent, we launch a very special episode of the podcast. Recently, Chuck and our friend Lou Perella drove to Austin. They podcasted along the trip. We review and comment on their trips to collectible stores and flea markets, deal with real-life-Tinmen, talk about the time Lou almost literally died from a poop-prank (true story), and I get to judge Chuck and Lou's time-travel squabble! Perfect!

In any event, we cover The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. #488 - Halloween 2020
We are joined by Ray Harrington this week! The self-proclaimed "Great Pumpkin" of comedy joins us for our yearly Chuck and Brad Podcast Halloween episode! We discuss some of the challenges that come with a pandemic Halloween. Chuck talks about the film Scary Stories To Tell in the Dark, then we discuss the new Adam Sandler film Hubie Halloween. Chuck and I offer some paltry Rejected Halloween Costumes (our worst ever), then Ray joins in on the fun. I educate Chuck and Ray about the history of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and things go off the rails. We then (surprisingly) learn about Ray's love of the Ernest films. I pose a Would You Rather? to Chuck and Ray and - to their credit - they answer it. We then briefly discuss why we are so interested in things that scare us, culminating in Ray's note-perfect Australian accent.

Chuck and I kick things off with a quick discussion about how busy he has been recently. I affirm my commitment to stillness and solitude and Chuck seems to intentionally misunderstand! After a few pieces of listener feedback, we throw it to an interview Chuck completed with Ernie O'Donnell. You may know him as Rick Derris from Clerks or any number of other creative projects. In addition, Ernie talks about Smodcastle East and the future for live events in and around Red Bank, NJ. We come back and Chuck shares the tale of a former friend and we weigh whether or not we should have this person on the podcast.

#486 - Borat 2, Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, and Jamie Foxx as Electro (Again!)
We start off this week, of course, by not really remembering or understanding Rumpelstiltskin. What a weird story. Chuck puts the finishing touches on his tale about working for Kevin Smith and filming the live Jay and Silent Bob Get Old Tenth Anniversary show a few weeks ago. We talk about the movie The Box and whether or not we would push a button that gives us a million dollars (and causes someone else's death). Conan O'Brien has signed a new deal with Audible and we discuss what that means for podcasting. We discuss our feelings about Borat and the Borat 2 trailer. Chuck tells me all about the movie Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, which leads to discuss about scare pranks in general (and in specific). We close this week with a discussion about Jamie Foxx reprising his role as Electro in a future Spider-Man film - will this be part of a multiverse for the Marvel movies, or is it just a unique casting decision?

After the interview, Chuck and I talk about this upcoming Halloween, and our favorite Halloween-enhancing creative projects. #484 - Chuck's SmodCo Experience, Documentary Quality, and Letting Go Of Old Art
Just Chuck and I this week, but we have plenty of Smod Content for all the Ants who now love us (maybe?)! We talk about Song Exploder and the trailers for WandaVision and Console Wars (with a slight tangent to the Cola Wars of the 80's). We get psyched for the Scott Pilgrim game re-release and express concerns and joy about the Adam Sandler film "Hubie Halloween." Chuck tells me about the documentary "Class Action Park" and its quality. We then discuss Pretending I'm A Superman, a documentary about the history of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games, as well as Happy Happy Joy Joy, a documentary about Ren and Stimpy.
We discuss the re-release of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 for current gen systems and briefly mention the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection. Chuck tells me about Being John Malkovich, which somehow gets us to the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal.
Chuck then regales me with the tale of his recent trip to Jersey. Filming for Jay and Silent Bob Get Old, eating at Mooby's, hanging at Smodcastle - fun stuff across the board! Following that, we talk about art from our past that we created that we are now ashamed of and question what to do with it.

We take a one-week break from "TESD Town History" this week, but it will be back next week! We open some voting to the Chubies (that's you) to help determine which horror series we watch and recap this October. We talk about the upcoming reboot of The Thing and get on a whole tangent about getting stranded in a blizzard a few years back. We talk about the upcoming Action Park documentary, the surprising cancellations of Tosh.O and Drunk History, the HBO Max Seth Rogen movie An American Pickle, then the new documentary series on Netflix about the history of video games - High Score. Chuck raves about the documentary series I'll Be Gone In The Dark and we vow (?) to solve a cold murder case before the end of the year.
After that, we talk about the announcements that came from this year's DC Fandome event. Our levels of excitment and caution do NOT match as we discuss the games Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. We discuss the upcoming Flash movie and of course...the trailer for The Batman. I love doing the podcast. Just throwing that out there. We talk about what we've been up to, including teasing a big story for next week. I talk about my birthday weekend and what that felt like during these bizarre times. Chuck talks about a series of stressful incidents from earlier this week. From there, we move to some news including a documentary about nudity in cinema. We end up on a tangent about nude scenes/racy movies that we remember from our youth/adolescence. We talk about being alone with our thoughts and how podcasts/TV shows help with that. From there, we discuss our experiences with/expectations of straight-to-streaming films. This segues neatly into a spoiler-free discussion of the direct-to-Hulu film "Palm Springs." We talk about the lawsuit against Netflix for having an "emotional" Sherlock Holmes, a new podcast about The Office, then close our news section with a quick talk about the Battletoads reboot. #473 - Reminiscing About a Normal Summer
Yo yo yo! It's Chuck and I am coming at you from a filming trip in New Jersey with Tell 'Em Steve-Dave! I am spending the next week at Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash working with the TESD guys. This trip kind of came up last minute, Brad was also going on vacation, and we did not have time to record a new episode before I left. I was racking my brain on what we could do for an episode, and ultimately I decided that maybe a little trip down memory lane to LAST summer would be fun, in this time where we can't do so many things that are normal for us.
This is a little episode with clips of all the normal stuff we'd be doing (our live comedy shows, our hosting gigs for food events, playing concerts, going to see comedians and musicians, etc) if there wasn't a pandemic on our hands. Hopefully you guys will have a fun time with us reminiscing, and we can all look forward to a future where everyone can spend time together again enjoying life.

Chuck tries to get me excited for some new Metal Slug games, then we speculate about casting additions to the MCU. I talk about movies I've watched recently, including Hell or High Water. Chuck raves about his renewed love for This Is The End, then offers thoughts on Zombieland 2. He talks about his efforts to get a fancy French Dip sandwich this week as well as going on a Jelly Donut hunt for his grandfather's 95th birthday. I'm still not sure how this ended up with us talking about TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze. We talk about Nick Swardson's appearance on Steve-O's podcast, then I bring up a book series I just finished and ask Chuck the question: why aren't there animated series aimed at adults? After we try and parse that out, I talk about finishing the game Dishonored 2 and using a walkthrough for most of it - should I feel ashamed? From there, we discuss me watching Blade Runner for the first time this weekend, then follow up with my thoughts on Blade Runner 2049. We talk a little bit about movies that make us cry and that becomes a discussion of songs and videos that elicit tears. Happy tears, I mean. The good kind.

#467 - Gear Woes, The Invitation, and Streets of Rage
We start out this week by joking about some health woes? Will Chuck die from carpal-tunnel syndrome? Maybe! But don't tell him I said anything! We talk about Mark Normand's new comedy special premiering on YouTube, then Chuck talks about his hunt for a new camera and the struggles that go into it. We then discuss movies we've seen recently, including Stuber, Hotel Artemis, and Arkansas. We both watched The Invitation and talk at length about that as a thriller. Chuck drops some news about future Deadpool movies, as well as a possible Community movie. We talk about Scream 5 and our experiences with the Scream series. We close this week by talking about our attempt to beat the first three games in the "Streets of Rage" series (which came out between 1991 and 1994). Were we able to beat the notoriously difficult third game? Listen and find out!

#466: Brad Blunders, The Last of Us 2, and Days N' Daze
We all make mistakes, right? Well, I talk about two mistakes I've made recently and chuckle at my innocent idiocy in regards to both groceries and garbage. From there, we shift to a "The Rohrer You Know" segment about shingles. Gross! Chuck tells me about the new Universal theme park opening in 2023. We discuss films getting "IMAX releases" on VD as well as a comedy festival airing this weekend on NBC. We talk about the HBO docuseries based on the Michelle McNamara book "I'll Be There In The Dark." We discuss the leaks from NaughtyDog's new game "The Last of Us 2" and the culture of fandom that produced them. We talk about movies we've watched recently - Creed, Creed II, The Goonies, and Bad Trip. I talk about making playlists with people I work with. Chuck gushes over the new album by Days N' Daze, and we close with updates about the Universal studios versus AMC theatres. The closing song is "Langley" by Sully Banger.

#465: Universal Pictures vs AMC Theatres, Groundhog Day, and That Kevin Smith Club
Just us this week! Chuck and I talk about our recent experiences, including the phenomenon of spending money just to feel something during the Stay At Home order. We talk about some things our family members are going through as well - pulling back the collective curtain on our actual lives. I tell Chuck about the Mr. Rogers documentary and my emotional reaction to it. He explains the Beastie Boys documentary (we briefly discussed it last week) and HIS emotional reaction to that! So many emotions. We then move to discuss news - after the success of Trolls: World Tour on streaming rentals, what does this mean for the future of movies (specifically movies from Universal) in theaters (specifically AMC theaters)? Chuck describes his feelings about the movie Groundhog Day, which he has recently seen for the first time. And finally, we discuss That Kevin Smith Club, the paysite for all things Kevin Smith! Wow!

#464 - Video Podcast Woes, Chuck's Dental Dilemma, and The Beastie Boys Documentary
Hello Chubies! We start this week out by talking about some of the issues facing us as we dip our disgusting toes into the world of video podcasting. Our pal Ray Harrington joins us and gently teases us about how this is the THIRD "first video episode" we've done. From there Chuck talks about some dental issues he's noticing during this time of quarantine and you'd better believe we get sidetracked on this one! We then get to news about the writer of Ant-Man 3 and the Spike Jonze-directed Beastie Boys documentary coming to Apple TV. Chuck tells us (and you) about the very good Mick Mazz 80's covers on YouTube, as well as a recent episode of Pete Holmes' podcast that he loves. Chuck talks about the movie "Crawl," then I mention "Us," "Blinded By The Light," and "Yesterday," all of which I watched over the weekend. We talk about HBO Max and how excited we are for the possibilities. We also joke about Chuck's teeth some more.

#463 - Chris Graue, the Amazing Johnathan Documentary, and So-Bad-They're-Good Movies
We start out this week with a quick greeting, and then dive into a Skype interview with our pal Chris Graue. Chris has directed music videos and promo videos and any other needed video things for a huge number of punk and ska bands. We talk with him about his start and his involvement in the music scene. What a good dude! After that winds up, we are joined by another good dude - Ray Harrington! We discuss some comedy and improv news (Seinfeld! Oswalt! Middleditch/Schwartz!), then riff on the Doogie Howser, MD reboot on Disney Plus. We then discuss Ben Berman's Hulu documentary on The Amazing Johnathan. A fascinating film! After a quick toss to RI Food Fights' own Jim Nellis, we discuss some films I watched recently that weren't great. This leads me to ask the question "When does a movie go from bad to so-bad-it's-good?" A fun discussion follows!

#462 - Onward, Comfort Viewing, and The Joy Of Being Early Adopters
We filmed this week! And we're joined (via satellite?) by our good pal, comedian/documentarian Ray Harrington! We riff on Chuck's now-constant use of "Sopranos" references as he makes his way through the series. A listener email spurs me to share my thoughts on The Gaslight Anthem, and we all discuss how we feel about liking things that then suddenly get super popular and why we feel that way. We debut our new segment "Quaranteeny Victories" - small things we accomplished because of the lockdown. Chuck offers an apology for a technical snafu on the last two podcasts, then tells us about the Roast of Rich Vos available on YouTube. He also explains Project 88 - Back to the Future Too. We discuss our feelings about the Disney/Pixar film Onward, as well as some Jack Black projects. We discuss the idea of "comfort food" media and name some examples from our own lives. Chuck closes the podcast with a report of an adorable squabble with his girlfriend Gina. It's a very fun conversation!

#461 - Listener Questions, Tiger King, and a Surprising Friday The 13th Tale
Prior to this week's recording, we went Live on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to solicit questions from our faithful (and attractive!) listeners. We discuss working from home and how that has affected me. We talk about this year's Wrestlemania situation - empty arenas and changed cards! We talk about new releases from Pearl Jam, Suicide Machines, and Brian Fallon. We discuss the future of Marvel movies and Chuck offers his thoughts on his watch-through of Sopranos. We discuss the upcoming (unconfirmed?) Mario reboots for the Nintendo Switch, Dave Chapelle getting the Mark Twain prize earlier this year, and Chuck tells me about two paranormal experiences he's had. After that, we discuss the Netflix documentary series Tiger King and talk about the technical AND human aspects of this sensational series. And to close, I recap a bizarre book Chuck once gave me: Friday the 13th - Road Trip

#460 - Upgrade, The World War Z Game, and The Hunt
Hey there Chubies! We talk this week about how this current state of affairs is affecting us, as well as a health scare for one of Chuck's family members. We talk about the struggle to be creative in times like this and Chuck talks about how he has worked through some of that struggle. We discuss the movie Upgrade and how we felt about it (no spoilers). Chuck tells me about watching season one of The Sopranos, then we talk about how we are rejoining the world of online gaming. We discuss the game World War Z and how much fun we've had playing it over the past week. We talk about the new Alkaline Trio EP as well as the new Marc Maron special. I tell Chuck about the "Timmy Failure" movie on Disney Plus, Chuck tells me about Mike Birbiglia's Instagram Live show as well as the new sitcom "Beefhouse." We close with a spoiler-free review of the controversial film "The Hunt," then, after clear warnings, discuss it in-depth with plenty of spoilers (but again, plenty of warning before those spoilers.)

#459 - How We're Dealing With This
What a difference a week makes! This is (hopefully) going to be our only episode devoted to the Coronavirus before we adjust. We talk about people's attitudes toward the virus and each other and how it's impacted us. We talk about our respective work situations and how those have been affected (and how they will continue to affect us going forward). We also talk about how the idea of social distancing affects our creative endeavors. Finally, we talk about some of our fears and anxieties and also what we're grateful for.

#458 - Chuck's Behind-The-Scenes Look at Independent Filmmaking
Sure, sure, we mention COVID-19 to start (and I'm including it here for SEO purposes), but the meat, potatoes, AND dessert of the episode is Chuck giving the lowdown on his gig filming for the podcast Tell 'Em Steve-Dave. We give background on the podcast, how Chuck got involved, and then Chuck relates the story of his most recent trip to Jersey to film with the guys. There are absolutely ZERO spoilers in this episode for TESD projects - but Chuck DOES tell an amazing door about an intoxicated gentleman causing havoc in a chicken restaurant (not related to filming), so there's that. A fun look at what REALLY goes on for Chuck's work!

#457 - MTV VJs, Birds of Prey, the Tony Hawk doc, and What Is Our Podcast?
We begin as so many podcasts should - dissecting Chuck's hatred of former MTV News Anchor Kurt. Even thinking about it now, I'm a little confused as to how we got there. After spending a fair amount of time discussing MTV and its culture, we talk about an exciting ska/punk tour coming to the area this summer. We talk about the photos of the new Batmobile, then Chuck offers me his (spoiler-free) review of Birds of Prey. We learn about a new documentary about Tony Hawk's Pro Skater as well as the new "Celebrity Escape Room" show. We discuss the Candyman trailer and I talk about my fear of the original film. We bask in the reflected glory of the Impractical Jokers movie succeeding at the box office, then discuss the new Morgan Spurlock documentary Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken. Speaking of which, we tried some new fast food items and talk about that (and get hilariously off-topic) before closing with a semi-serious discussion: what is our podcast?

#456 - The Impractical Jokers Movie, Brad's Mobile Game Addiction, and A Pup In Peril!
Chuck and I are back at it this week! Chuck calls the Chubies to action, then I offer a heartfelt apology to Chuck for assuming the worst of some of his previous preferences. Chuck tells me all about his Valentine's Weekend with his wonderful girlfriend Gina and the many restaurants he tried. I talk about quitting a mobile game I had played for over 600 days. I tell Chuck about the February 2020 version of Pechakucha in Providence, then we get into an in-depth discussion about what the Impractical Jokers movie means to us as independent comedians. We wind things up with a story about Chuck's horrible week, and a moment of fear for his pup, Swiss Miss!

#455 - Spiral, McMillions, and Parasite
We are joined this week by Tony Pacitti and Matt Ferrara, co-hosts of the podcast What Did We Miss? We discuss their podcast for a while and talk about their inspirations and I try to recruit them as juggalos. For some reason, they pass on the opportunity. After that, we talk about the trailer for the upcoming movie "Spiral." Will it be a reboot of Saw? A sequel? A parallel movie? We speculate on all the possibilities! From there, the four of us talk about the ongoing HBO documentary series "McMillion$" and offer our feelings about what we've seen so far. And after a minor tangent or two, we dive into a discussion about the movie Parasite. How did we feel about the academy award-winning film?

#454 - Deja Blues, Fast and Furious 9 Trailer, Kevin Smith, and The California Raisins
Chuck and I are back, and we've both had BAD DAYS! GRRRRRRRR!!! We talk about that, then decide to have a fun podcast to replace those bad feelings. We discuss The Fast and Furious 9 trailer and try to figure out how much our podcast of two weeks ago affected the casting and writing of a movie that's been done for weeks. We finish that and discuss our recent trip to see Kevin Smith's "Jay and Silent Bob Reboot" Roadshow in Providence. Once we finish that, we kick off our new segment "The Rohrer You Know" and I teach Chuck the history of The California Raisins!

#453 - Ray Harrington on "Conan" and a Sad Story From Brad's Past
We welcome in our pal Ray Harrington this week! After he and Chuck discuss the best way to celebrate (or not celebrate) Valentine's Day, we get to the heart of the matter. Ray tells us all about his experience doing stand-up on "Conan." How it came about, how it felt, what kind of snacks were in the green room...all the most important things about the entire experience. And after we finish celebrating Ray's career milestone, I bring things back to earth with a dating tale from my college days. Much merriment is had discussing my pain!!!!

#452 - Cage Titans MMA, Embark Dog DNA Tests, and Bad Boys For Life
Our intern Ayden joins us for one final adventure this week! We talk about our friend (and frequent podcast guest) Ray Harrington guesting on the Conan show as we were recording this episode. We talk about Chuck's feelings on animal attack videos and discuss whether bad guys getting attacked by animals would make for good viewing. We recap our recent adventure hosting the Spectacular Cookie Smackdown for RI Food Fights. Chuck and I tell Ayden about our night out watching some local MMA bouts and how it felt to witness such brutality. From there, we discuss the recent WWE Royal Rumble (with a little more scripted brutality). Chuck talks about the Dog DNA kit he just received from the good people at Embark. Chuck tells us about the Kevin Hart documentary series on Netflix. From there, Chuck waxes nostalgic about Bad Boys 1, then waxes ecstatic about Bad Boys 2 (and describes the entire ending sequence to Ayden). We then offer a spoiler-free review of Bad Boys For Life, and give a clear warning before giving our spoiler-full thoughts on the film.

#451 - Behind The Scenes of Filming "Restaurant: Impossible" at Perella's Ristorante
Whoa mama! We are joined by Gina Mastrostefano this week as we welcome in our very, very special guest - Lou Perella! Lou played a pivotal role in the recent episode of the Food Network's show "Restaurant: Impossible," as the "impossible restaurant" in last week's episode was Lou's father's business! Right here in lil' ol' Warren, Rhode Island: Perella's Ristorante! Lou has grown up working at Perella's, he played a pivotal role in the episode, and he gives us the whole behind the scenes story, from talks with the producers well ahead of time to meeting celebrity chef Robert Irvine, to Lou's feelings during the reveal of the renovated restaurant (and the culinary world in general). We love "Little Lou," and after hearing this episode, we guarantee you will too. (NOTE: Not an actual guarantee.)
